The always on point Massimo Logli leads from the front with his new EP Homam on his label Superba Records. The Italian legend has very much helped shape the scene with his always fresh output and proves that again now.

Homam is a direct and edgy techno cut with fast faced drums and dark fun as twisted synths bring texture up top. Elgafar keeps the energy high with more raw drums and serrated synths that spray about the mix to get peak time floors bouncing. Felis is awash with flashes of acid that are urgent and futuristic and perfect for strobe-lit clubs, then Merope rounds out with a more stripped back and heady roller that has oversized hi hats and internal synths bubbling through the mix.

This is another fresh outing from Massimo Logli.

The Deepshakerz x Fex (IT) pair off for a new single on Adesso.

Domy Berardino and Mirco Sonatore, aka The Deepshakerz, blend all shades of house music into their productions. The Italian pair have won fans, including Groove Armada and Loco Dice, remixed everyone from Kerri Chandler to Marshall Jefferson, and toured the world while releasing on labels like Moon Harbour, Cajual, and MadTech. For this one they work with fellow countryman Fex (IT), a drummer turned producer on labels like Snatch!, for the anthemic ‘Deep Ocean’ single on Adesso Music.

The sun-kissed ‘Deep Ocean’ is an emotionally rich house track with impassioned vocals delivered in spectacular fashion nestled over thumping drums and synths that ride up and down the scale. It’s the sort of big-room bothering track that will have dance floors under its spell in no time.

The Deepshakerz x Fex (IT) ‘Deep Ocean’ drops via Adesso Music on 26th April 2024.

Label regular Don Turi is back on bORDEL Records with a final single of his Digital Clash EP.

Turi is a renowned drummer and electronic producer with a unique sound that has come on the likes of Get Physical, Kitsuné and Citizen Records amongst others.

Take Control is the sort of effective techno weapon that drives crowds wild. It is stripped back but has a serrated synth line ripping up the mix as steamy vocal coos come in from above and the hunched drums never let up.

Self-taught musician, Dj and Producer, Cristian Viviano (born in Palermo in 1987), can definitely be qualified as a polyhedric and inspired artist. Listening to his sets, which are involving and full of positive vibes, it is impossible not to notice the strong sense of empathy he feels with the audience. His passion for music was born in the streets under the influence of funky culture. His personal discovery of musical technology led him towards a strongly tribal influenced, techno and house rhythm, which he achieves by using sequencers, synthesizers and drum machines. Sabo and his record label Sol Selectas embark 2024 with the fifth edition of the ‘Global Entry’ compilation, which features 10 organic house tracks with Afro rhythms, melodic grooves and enchanting melodies.

Bastian Bux strides into 2024 with an impressive three-tracker on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax.

Bastian Bux was hugely busy in 2023 with standout cuts on his own Neverendz label, having already impressed on Eats Everything’s Edible, elrow Music and Cuartero’s Sanity. He hails from Barcelona and has shown himself to be endlessly creative in the studio – each new tune shows an evolution in his sound, whether vocal, deep, tech or beyond. Now, almost a decade into his career, he has played everywhere from Tomorrowland to Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas, and he now opens the year with a superb three-track EP on Hottrax.

The punchy ‘Dunns’ kicks off with tight, clipped tech house drums and chopped-up vocal stabs that eventually turn into streetwise bars drenched in attitude. ‘Dat Beat’ is just as fresh and sure to get crowds in a swat with its hardcore house grooves and twisted synths spraying about the mix. Throw in more well-treated vocal fragments and a fat bassline, and you have real club dynamite. Completing this essential hat trick is ‘Howyalldoin’, a more playful cut with a sun-kissed vibe thanks to its soulful male vocals and funky bass riffs.
