Quarters Brighton, the newest venue from Amaad Venues, is proud to announce a pioneering partnership with AudioActive, the South East’s leading non-profit music organisation dedicated to empowering young people and emerging artists through music. This collaboration brings together Quarters’ commitment to world-class live music experiences with AudioActive’s expertise in youth development, mentoring, and creative opportunity.

Together, Quarters and AudioActive will curate events led by AudioActive members, with both talent and crew coming from the organisation and supported by Quarters, giving young people hands-on experience in planning, staffing, and delivering live music showcases. The partnership will provide paid internships offering real-world experience across all aspects of running and managing a professional venue, while creative opportunities, including rehearsal and recording spaces, content creation for personal platforms, and guest list access, ensure music remains accessible to those who need it most.

This partnership will create concrete, actionable opportunities that give young people genuine ownership of the Quarters space and the chance to shape its cultural impact. From the outset, Quarters has aimed to be more than just a club, actively contributing to its local community and providing a platform where the South Coast music scene can flourish.

Every guest list allocation at Quarters will include a £5 donation to AudioActive, with all contributions tracked and shared to highlight the partnership’s tangible impact. Industry mentoring and classes will see AMAAD staff and music professionals hosting sessions and talks, connecting young members directly with artists and leaders shaping the future of electronic and live music.

Since opening in September 2025, Quarters has already made its mark with an innovative programme of live and electronic events, featuring artists such as Shy FX, Laurent Garnier, Swimming Pool, Everything Everything, The Sherlocks and The Callous Daoboys.

Producer/DJ talent Sagia invites immersion in the emotional essence of the desert with her three-track EP ‘Storyteller’, out 12^th December on Desert Hearts Black. The London-based talent has crafted the melodic house & techno EP with layered melodies and dreamy textures, delivering a bold, hypnotic experience, mirroring her style of blending instrumentally rich sounds and her musical sensitivity with solid basslines and dancefloor-ready energy.

Sagia has previously released on Desert Hearts, 100% Pure, Area Remote, Natura Viva, Blackwiz…. She has performed at both Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) and Miami Music Week, as well as widely in the London scene, including playing at London Fashion Week, on Fashion TV, 93 Feet East, Sketch… Her remix of Beth Lydi’s ‘This Is Love’ won a prize in a Change The Beat competition, leading to a Desert Hearts release of her version. Her monthly radio show ‘Flight Mode’ features mainly Melodic House and Techno, Deep & Progressive sounds, and is an outlet for sharing the music and artists she loves with others.

‘When writing ‘Storyteller’, I wanted to capture the essence of the desert’s mystique and beauty. There’s something about that vast, open space – the stillness, the raw power – that really spoke to me,’ says Sagia. ‘I wanted to take listeners on a sonic journey through that landscape: drifting across dunes beneath a star-studded sky, deeper into the heart and soul of the desert. The profound silence of the desert, the whispering wind and the ever-changing patterns of the sand dunes really sparked my creative fire’.

Swiss-born DJ and producer Dario D’Attis joins forces with longtime collaborator Haldo for the latest release on Poker Flat Recordings, following on from Back To The Old (2025 on Poker Flat).

Naku is a deep, groove-driven cut that grew from a hypnotic bassline and is elevated by the magnetic vocals. Blending timeless house sensibilities with rich Afro-inspired textures, the track is both soulful and primed for the dancefloor.

“I’ve been working with Haldo in the studio for almost 20 years.” says Dario D’Attis. “He’s one of my favorite musicians. We always record what we play and then I let myself be inspired by the recordings in my studio and just make my cuts. Naku actually grew out of the baseline.”

Adding to the release, UK house legend Atjazz (Martin Iveson) delivers his signature Galaxy Aart rework, presenting both a stunning remix and a stripped dub version. His remix deepens the original’s hypnotic pull, layering textures and intricate rhythms that showcase his unmistakable touch.

French born and Amsterdam based techno DJ and producer Sina XX has announced his upcoming album Let There Be Light with a new single of the same name dropping on 28th November via his own imprint subtyl.

Let The Be Light is a dark and striking techno cut which embraces its high intensity energy as the track builds throughout. Minimalism and tension define the record as dub-infused stabs and otherworldly textures capture the spirit of early Berlin techno. Through its carefully measured orchestration, the track demonstrates that restraint can be its greatest strength which is a testament to the power of subtlety in electronic music.

Sina XX has become a pivotal figure in the global underground scene. A fierce advocate for safe spaces where the crowd can experience pure freedom, his music is an invitation to let go and reconnect with our tribal instincts. His early work, including his first EP produced between Tehran and Beirut, set the tone for a career marked by cross-cultural influences and boundary-pushing collaborations. UK DJ and production duo TIBASKO make their debut on HE.SHE.THEY. Records with rolling three-track EP, Three Dot. Out the 4th December on all platforms, the release also includes three club-ready edits.

Three Dot comes off the back of a huge 2025 for TIBASKO, who’ve continued to cement their status as one of the most vital acts in the UK underground. Over the past 12 months, the duo have delivered their debut BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, headlined a sold-out show at London’s Jazz Café, and unveiled their full live set at Manchester’s Warehouse Project, marking a defining new chapter in their evolution. Last month they also joined Louis Bekk at London’s Outernet, rounding off a standout run that included major festival appearances across Europe and North America.

Opening with its title track, ‘Three Dot’ channels dark, rolling energy into a euphoric breakbeat anthem built for those heightened, emotional moments. “We’re entering a new chapter for TIBASKO – a return to the emotional, melodic sound that’s always defined our identity” , says Andy.

“Three Dot captures that evolution through three club-focused tracks, each with its own energy.” ‘Orchid’ follows, euphoric and emotive, driven by a bouncing bassline and an infectious vocal hook that carries its momentum. On the flip, EP closer ‘Love (Hurts)’ adds weight with a powerful, synth-led finale that has already become a highlight of their live sets. “Seeing the crowd react, completely losing themselves in the music, has reaffirmed that this new sonic direction truly connects”, Andy says. “In many ways, Three Dot was born from those shared moments; it’s music made for that collective energy between us and the audience”.

Toronto-born and Berlin-based DJ, producer, and label founder Andre Zimmer rounds off a defining year with the release of his new EP Bountiful, out on vinyl 5th December via his own imprint Big Trouble Records.

The four-track project sees Zimmer draw deep from the roots of Chicago house, blending jackin’ drum programming, hazy strings and analog textures into a record that feels both timeless and forward-facing. Early support has already come from Peggy Gou, Massimiliano Pagliara, Jennifer Loveless, Jorkes, Moxie, Alinka and more – a testament to Zimmer’s growing stature as one of the underground’s most distinctive new voices.

Capping off a standout year, Zimmer continues to prove himself as one of electronic music’s most exciting voices. 2024 began with ‘Raf’, his collaborative single with Turkish-Italian artist Carlita, featured in her acclaimed fabric mix and marking a true breakthrough moment. Momentum carried through with standout releases like ‘Invisible Sandwich’ (spotlighted in Job Jobse’s RA Mix of the Day) and Kwon’s Anthem, further cementing his forward-thinking sound. With more on the horizon, including a 2026 EP on Craigie Knowes and a remix package for Canadian disco icons Lime alongside Gerd Janson and Cormac, Zimmer continues to shape his place on the global stage.

With Bountiful, Zimmer channels his love of early Chicago house and the “loft mixes” that emerged from ’90s New York, crafting four tracks that sit somewhere between the body, the head and the heart. Built primarily on the Roland 707 and 727 drum machines, paired with the Juno-60 and SH-101, the record thrives on tactile imperfections, detuned synths, late claps and strings that bend like a sigh.

Big Trouble, the label behind the release, stands as an extension of Zimmer’s philosophy – a home for producers who honour the roots of house while pushing it forward. Since launching the imprint, he’s cultivated a community built on inclusivity and authenticity, releasing music from Jex Opolis, Cinthie, Paperkraft, Bliss Inc. With several sold-out vinyl runs already under its belt and a strong roster lined up for 2026, Big Trouble continues to rise as one of the underground’s most exciting and forward-thinking new labels.

Di Saronno hails from Italy and brings plenty of jack to his house sounds, as well as hints of fiery disco and an always timeless outlook. Ira James’ Vessel Recordings Group is a perfect home for that sort of tackle and his ‘Deus Ex Machina’ EP kicks off with a funked-up and medical groove that’s choppy and warmed through with some lo-fi and jazzy chords. ‘Savoir Faire’ is a still raw but has more breezy vibes with sultry spoken word samples and ‘Keep It Real’ then brings a clean, more punchy Keri Chandler-style house bounce. ‘Planet 303’ is a choppy closer with a monstrous bassline that brings the filth down below US garage drums. Well-crafted house that cannot be missed.
