Featuring evocative Hindi vocals by Eeshita Rathore, Migrant’s final release of the year is an organic, emotionally grounded house cut rooted in love, preservation and a sense of place.

Renowned Indian DJ and electronic music producer Migrant closes out 2025 with “Tarase”, his final single of the year and a deeply personal statement that reflects a more intentional and focused evolution of his sound. Stripped back yet emotionally rich, the track leans into organic groove, subtle propulsion and spacious production, allowing feeling, texture and intention to lead.

Built on warm basslines, ethereal atmospheres and hypnotic rhythmic flow, “Tarase” unfolds patiently. At its core is a captivating vocal performance from acclaimed Indian vocalist Eeshita Rathore, whose Hindi phrases add intimacy and emotional weight. Intermittent male vocal textures from Migrant himself appear throughout the arrangement, enhancing its human quality without overpowering the groove. The track breathes through expansive moments of space before returning to its pulse, mirroring the natural ebb and flow that defines the release.

The title “Tarase” draws meaning from multiple linguistic and cultural interpretations. In Hindi, Taras evokes compassion, longing and emotional sensitivity; elsewhere, the word carries associations with character and spirit depending on context. Rather than a singular definition, “Tarase” represents feeling; something instinctive, unforced and deeply human.

That emotion is also closely tied to a place. “Tarase” comes from Migrant’s love for the Aravalli mountain range in north-western India; its fragile ecology, its people, its art and its centuries-old forts and palaces. To mark the release, Migrant and Eeshita performed the track within the Aravallis, allowing the landscape that inspired the music to become part of its expression. The project reflects a quiet call for preservation – of landscapes, of culture and of shared creative ecosystems.

Speaking about the single, Migrant commented:

“Tarase comes from love. Love for the Aravallis – especially now, when their state is so fragile. Love for its landscape of immense beauty – one we risk harming if we’re not mindful. Love for its art, its people and its heritage. Love for the forts, palaces and the stories they carry. At its core, this project is about preservation – of places, of culture, of each other.”

Throughout 2025, Migrant has explored a wide range of tempos, sounds and emotional palettes; from introspective and meditative to bass-heavy, breaks-driven experimentation. “Tarase” brings those explorations to a close with clarity and intention, marking the beginning of a more defined Migrant identity, where beats, bass and rhythm serve something deeper than the dancefloor alone.

“Tarase” is available on all major streaming platforms from December 26.

Out now via Embassy One, the Belgian producer delivers an emotive, club-driven reinterpretation of one of the defining tracks from Monolink’s latest album, “The Beauty Of It All”.

Following the critically acclaimed release of Monolink’s third studio album The Beauty Of It All back in September, Embassy One now unveils the latest chapter in the album’s evolution with MAXI MERAKI’s remix of “In My Place”. Putting his own inimitable spin on one of the tracks that helped define the album’s emotional tone and artistic direction, the Belgian producer’s interpretation of “In My Place” builds on the raw, spontaneous spirit of the original while guiding it into deeper, more club-ready territory.

The original track – rooted in an impromptu synth jam between Monolink and producer Toby Siebert – was largely captured in a one-take performance, radiating the unfiltered energy and analog warmth that have become signatures of Monolink’s artistry. Its pulsing rhythms, subdued vocals and warped central riff made it both a listener favourite and a defining moment in the unveiling of The Beauty Of It All.

In his remix, MAXI MERAKI channels that raw essence into a refined, atmospheric journey. With meticulous attention to groove and space, he deepens the track’s emotional pull while expanding its dancefloor potential. Rolling percussion, dynamic bass textures and powerful synths provide a new sense of lift and motion, allowing Monolink’s vocals to breathe within a wider sonic horizon. The result is a remix that feels both intimate and cinematic; faithful to the soul of the original while unmistakably stamped with MERAKI’s signature emotional resonance.

Driven by a desire to connect deeply through sound, MAXI MERAKI has firmly established himself as one of electronic music’s rising forces. His releases on labels including Abracadabra, Monaberry, Get Physical, Ultra Records, Artbat’s Upperground, Rose Avenue, Astralwerks, Radiate and Siamese have earned him chart success and widespread recognition. Supported by industry icons such as Jamie Jones, Keinemusik, Rüfüs Du Sol, Adriatique, Black Coffee, Solomun, &ME and Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, he continues to shape a global presence through his unique blend of melodic nuance and dancefloor energy.

MERAKI’s remix adds a compelling new dimension to The Beauty Of It All, an album praised for its introspective storytelling, sonic warmth and focus on emotional clarity. By reinterpreting “In My Place,” he extends the album’s world, inviting listeners deeper into its atmosphere while offering a fresh, contemporary angle on one of its most impactful songs.

From late-night studio sessions in Germany to the main stages of the world’s most renowned festivals, PAJANE has become synonymous with high-energy, emotion-driven electronic music. At just 25, the German producer and DJ Philip Pape has already amassed over 23 million Spotify streams, delivered official remixes for Tiësto and Joel Corry, and collaborated with artists like BIJOU, Joel Corry, and Sidney Samson — with tracks like “Riverside MF” cementing his reputation as a dancefloor powerhouse.

PAJANE first captured the scene’s attention with his breakout hit “Back Once More”, a record that stormed charts, won the support of global heavyweights like Tiësto, Diplo, and ACRAZE, and held a spot in 1001Tracklists’ Top 5 for weeks. Since then, he has consistently pushed his sound, moving seamlessly between festival anthems and underground grooves, and earning recognition from Tomorrowland as one of their “20 Artists to Watch”. His performances at iconic venues such as Bootshaus Cologne, Illuzion Phuket, Papaya Croatia, and World Club Dome showcase his ability to translate studio innovation into unforgettable moments on stage.

Now, with his debut single “Crush” on WCD Music, PAJANE channels instinct, energy, and raw emotion into a track that is both immediate and hypnotic — a song that captures the exact state of mind in which it was created. In this interview, he takes us inside his creative process, showing how he turns fleeting feelings into grooves that move crowds and resonate with listeners around the world.

How do you translate your emotions into the sounds you create in a track like ‘Crush’?

When I made Crush it was literally just me chasing a feeling. I didn’t sit there thinking about emotion or story, it was more like “okay, what’s in my system right now, and how do I get that into a groove.” I had this rush of energy from the night before, opened my DAW, played around with the bass for a few minutes and suddenly the whole vibe was there. Once that loop hit, I knew exactly where the track needed to go. So the emotion isn’t something I plan, it’s more like capturing a moment before it fades. Crush basically sounds like the state I was in that day – fast, simple, straight to the point.

Is there a personal story or moment that inspired the energy behind the track?

I had a lot of built up energy, opened the project and just started messing with the bass until it matched that feeling in my chest. Once that main idea was there, the rest of the track was basically just shaping that rush into something you can dance to. It actually reminded me a lot of how Back Once More happened. That track also came together super quickly, in this kind of tunnel vision where you don’t analyse anything, you just follow what feels right. Crush is the same in that sense. The emotion is not planned, it’s captured. You hear exactly where my head was at in that moment, and I think that’s why both tracks connect the way they do.

When you’re making music, do you think more about rhythm and movement, or emotion and atmosphere first, and why?

For me it really depends on what I am trying to tap into that day. Some days I wake up wanting to make something that hits hard for the club, other days I am in the mood to write something more emotional. I do not sit down and tell myself what the track should be. I let my mind run and follow whatever feels honest in that moment. If emotional ideas make sense to me, I lean into them. If I want to release energy and build something heavy, I go there instead. But because I have played drums since I was six, rhythm is naturally a big part of how I create. Groove and the feel of the drums usually come first and everything else grows from there.

How does performing live influence the way you approach creating new tracks?

Performing live definitely shapes how I build tracks. In the studio it is quiet, so you need imagination to picture how a moment will hit in a packed room. When I am creating something mainly for my sets, I chase epic moments. I want weight in the low end, heavy sub drops, and sections that completely slam. Tracks like my Drunk Text Me remix or my Paradise remix for DJ Snake are examples. They are made to explode on a system. It needs energy, bounce, and groove, and it has to make the subwoofers work hard. If it does not move the room, it is not finished.

Which track of yours do you feel most connected to on a personal level, and why?

People might expect me to say one of my bigger records like Back Once More, but the tracks I feel most connected to are often older SoundCloud tools I used to open my sets with, like my remix of Rezz and Grabbitz Someone Else or my Machine Gun Kelly remix. They carry a lot of memories because they were key moments in my sets for a long time. From my more recent originals I would pick The Drama. From my edits and remixes it would be my Drunk Text Me remix. It starts heavy and turns emotional, which makes it the perfect closer. If I had to choose one track I feel the deepest connection to, it would be that remix.

Do you have rituals or habits in the studio that help you get into a creative mindset?

When I work alone I do not have real rituals. I sit down, experiment, and follow whatever idea feels right. At home I like to feel settled before starting. I take the dog out, eat something, make a tea, and then I am ready. It is not required for creativity, it just helps me feel balanced. When I work with friends the atmosphere becomes important. With Eltiv who is a very talented producer and one of my closest friends the creative flow has always been natural. We also have a techno project together called Good N’ Bad. Back in my old apartment we would hang out, smoke a shisha, have a Corona beer, and then start working. None of that is necessary, and smoking or drinking is unhealthy, but it created a certain vibe during that time. I have also had sessions where I was so locked in I forgot to drink water. The only real habit that matters is creating an environment where you can enter that zone when it comes.

How do you approach collaborating with other artists while keeping your own voice intact?

For me the most important part of collaborating is connecting on a personal level first. I talk to people, get to know what they like, listen to their ideas, and show them mine. You cannot force creativity on command. A good collaboration always happens in the middle. Even if one person does the final production on their own computer, the goal is to blend both identities naturally. It will always lean a little to one side, but that is normal. What matters is respect. Sometimes you allow ideas you would not normally choose because they matter to the other person. Collaboration is about meeting halfway and creating something neither of you would have made alone.

Is there a sound, instrument, or effect you’ve been experimenting with recently that excites you?

Because I work on sound packs and help develop them with different producers for one of the top selling brands on Splice, I constantly explore new ideas. When you create samples you have to stay curious. Recent sessions, like one with Eltiv while he was building a mainstage pack, opened new perspectives for both of us. I also enjoy using my old Korg M1 hardware synth which still runs on floppy discs and contains some very abstract sounds. On the software side the new Ableton updates have been inspiring. I like doing strange processing moves like printing parts to audio, resampling them, reversing them, pitching them and rebuilding something completely new. Crush is a good example. The drops come from the same bassline pitched in different ranges, distorted, printed, chopped and sidechained. It is never about one effect. It is about pushing sounds into unexpected places and staying experimental. You never stop learning in sound design. You do not need to spend much money. Use trial plugins, borrow synths, and create your own material.

When fans reach out saying your music moved them, how does that impact your approach to making new songs?

It has a big impact. After shows people often message me asking about certain tracks or IDs. When that happens I try to understand exactly which moment they connected with. Sometimes I even write back and ask which part they meant. I keep these reactions in mind when I work on new music. I do not try to recreate the same moment, but I let it influence me. If something clearly moved people, there is a reason. I take that feeling and explore it in a new way so the music stays connected to the listeners while I continue to grow creatively.

Looking ahead, what’s a feeling or atmosphere you’d love to explore more in your future releases?

People often labeled me as a tech house act, but that is not where I come from. I started in dubstep and always loved techno long before it became a major wave. My release on December nineteen, Paralyzed, leans more melodic and has a tech house pop feeling which I always wanted to try. But in the coming years I want to move toward a darker and heavier direction again. I realised I had been playing a bit too soft for my own taste. Hard hitting techno energy around one hundred thirty four beats per minute has always been my guilty pleasure. It is the sound that brings me the most joy. I want to give people rolling bass lines that really hit and bring that intensity back into my sets and my productions.

The London-based artist delivers an explosive two-track release that explores shadow, resilience and the emotional extremes of modern Techno

London-based DJ, producer and TMPL Music label boss ADRIANNA caps off an impressive year in the studio with Demon Mind, a gripping two-track EP marking her eagerly anticipated debut on Simina Grigoriu’s Kuukou Records. With previous standout releases on We Are The Brave, Terminal M and Kurai, ADRIANNA continues her sharp ascent, carving out a signature sound defined by emotional depth, precision engineering and an unapologetically kinetic approach to Techno.

On Demon Mind, ADRIANNA opens a portal into her shadow side, delivering one of her most uncompromising works to date. The title track is a tense, pressure-cooked burner designed to provoke and unsettle in the best possible way. Through frenetic sonics, strained atmospherics and a blistering low end, she channels fear, angst and internal conflict into a track that hits with rig-levelling ferocity. It’s a raw, urgent release of energy; dark, cathartic and impossible to ignore.

On the flip, Jack sees ADRIANNA reunite with regular collaborator Reaktive for a contrasting surge of momentum and melodic force. Bursting out with immediate intent, the duo strike a razor-sharp balance between emotive musicality and industrial edge. Propelled by thunderous drums, serrated textures, acid streaks and powerful prog stabs, “Jack” captures a spirit of grit, determination and forward motion. It’s eyes-down, mobile Techno engineered for late-night endurance; an anthem of challenge and triumph that crescendos into a potent, floor-commanding peak.

With this release, ADRIANNA reinforces her position as one of Techno’s most compelling emerging voices, while Kuukou Records once again proves its commitment to high-impact, meaningful club music. True to the label’s ethos – techno for technoDemon Mind lands as a bold addition to Kuukou’s runway of hard-hitting, emotionally charged productions built to leave a lasting mark on the dancefloor.

The blistering two-track package is out now via OFF Recordings

Berlin-based techno innovator Simina Grigoriu returns to OFF Recordings with Ascended Masters, a powerful two-track EP that distils her signature blend of hypnotic precision and kinetic energy. Out now, the release marks her final offering of the year, and a striking conclusion to a prolific run that has included standout releases on Drumcode Ltd., Terminal M, OFF Recordings, Phuture Wax, and her own Kuukou Records.

Ascended Masters follows Simina’s critically acclaimed Precision EP from September 2025, further cementing her longstanding relationship with OFF Recordings, where she has been a regular contributor since her 2020 debut Sandbox Wars. True to form, this new EP showcases her meticulous approach to sound design and her instinctive feel for tension, momentum and dancefloor architecture.

The title track Ascended Masters wastes no time establishing its command. A thunderous bassline anchors the piece, propelling forward with a disciplined intensity that is unmistakably Simina. Following an immense breakdown, coiling samples weave between the percussion, shifting in subtle, evolving patterns that maintain a constant sense of movement, while spectral motifs flicker at the edges of the mix, giving the track an almost ritualistic aura. The result is techno that feels both elevated and deep-rooted.

On the flip, Inner Alchemy sees Simina continue to dive into dark, introspective territory. The low-end growls with restrained power, while crisp percussion slices through the atmosphere, balancing tension with clarity. A brooding melodic pulse beats beneath the surface, slowly gathering intensity as each layer locks into place.
At its core, the track is about transformation; rhythmic, emotional and energetic. A swirling mid-track breakdown briefly suspends gravity, only to plunge back into a sweeping, muscular groove built for peak-time impact. This is techno engineered to shift the mood of a room: immersive, evolving, and subtly incendiary.

Over the past decade, Simina Grigoriu has shaped a distinctive identity in modern techno: cerebral yet visceral, refined yet always driven by raw pulse and purpose. Whether releasing on globally respected labels or steering the direction of her own Kuukou Records, she remains dedicated to pushing boundaries both sonically and structurally. With Ascended Masters, Simina closes out 2025 on a high note, delivering an EP that is as technically daring as it is emotionally resonant.

Internationally renowned Indonesian DJ and producer Whisnu Santika continues his prolific run of form into to the final month of 2025, as he delivers one of the most evocative releases of his career to date with “I’ll Be Yours”. Created alongside previous collaborator Rey Putra and burgeoning Indonesian vocalist Cosmo Kent, the single is available from December 10, just days before Whisnu’s eagerly anticipated appearance at Djakarta Warehouse Project.

Offering fans a glimpse into a more emotional, narrative-driven side of Whisnu’s artistry, “I’ll Be Yours” builds on the creative synergy he and Rey have cultivated over the past year: first through their high-energy track “J-Town”, then through their viral edits of Bruno Mars’ “Die With A Smile”, Adam Port’s “Move” and Gala’s “Freed From Desire.”

“I’ll Be Yours” unfolds as an end-of-the-world love story between two people once deeply connected but long separated. In their final moments, one reaches out – not to undo the past, but to feel love once more before time runs out. Lyrics like “Hold you more before we go, I’ll be yours, evermore” echo with both urgency and acceptance and rather than celebrating heroism, the song captures something more intimate: the choice to love the same person again, even when the ending is inevitable.

At its heart, “I’ll Be Yours” is about longing and belonging; the need to feel connected, to feel held, even as everything else collapses. Beneath its apocalyptic framing, the song reflects a universal truth: in moments of crisis, humans reach for each other first. It offers the quiet belief that no matter how broken things become, there is always one last chance to love again.

Whisnu Santika has become a driving force in Indonesia’s electronic music landscape, helping spark the rise of the Indonesian Bounce movement with his baile funk–inspired sound. Since 2019, he has built a catalog that reflects both innovation and instinct; always pushing dance music forward while staying deeply connected to Indonesian audiences. His rise has been rapid and undeniable: in 2023, 80% of his 207 shows across Indonesia sold out, solidifying his status as one of the country’s most in-demand performers. Recently, his energy has resonated on the global stage as well, with performances at Tomorrowland Belgium, Siam Songkran Bangkok and Amsterdam Dance Event, to name a few.

Rey Putra, known for his precise musicality and cinematic approach to production, began his creative journey at age 10. Over the years, he has composed music for international acts including Alan Walker, Steve Aoki, Nicky Romero, and Cash Cash. His win across major producer competitions and his work on the 2018 Asian Para Games anthem highlight his continued influence on Indonesia’s electronic sound. His ongoing collaboration with Whisnu represents two artists whose visions push each other to evolve.

Cosmo Kent — an artistic evolution of singer-songwriter Prince Husein — brings a bold, future-minded edge to his vocal work. Through this new persona, he blends his soulful roots with a more experimental electronic palette. On “I’ll Be Yours,” his voice becomes the emotional core of the story, grounding the track’s apocalyptic backdrop with raw human warmth.

Out now, Migrant offers up a bold sonic transformation blending breakbeat energy, deep basslines and UK-inspired grit.

After mesmerizing listeners with the meditative pulse of “Anahata”, Indian producer and DJ Migrant returns with a fierce and fearless new single “Suppressed”. Representing a distinct shift in creative direction, “Suppressed” sees Migrant step into darker, rawer territory, embracing the restless energy of breakbeat, UK bass, and underground club culture.

Built around jagged percussion, warped low-end grooves and old school hip hop vocal samples that echo like ghosts from the rave era, “Suppressed” is both a love letter to the roots of dance music and a declaration of artistic evolution. Reworking a sample lifted from Blackstreet’s 1994 hit “Physical Thing’, Migrant takes the emotional depth that has always defined his work and channels it through a more visceral, kinetic form; one that hits as hard in the chest as it does in the mind.

Speaking about the new single, Migrant commented:

“This track came from a place of tension. I wanted to capture that feeling of something powerful trying to break through – emotion, memory, energy – all the things we keep buried. ‘Suppressed’ is about release. It’s about letting go.”

Drawing inspiration from the UK’s storied bass culture — from early jungle pioneers like Adam F through to modern breakbeat innovators like Overmono — “Suppressed” merges nostalgia with forward momentum. The result is a darkly euphoric cut that feels as suited to sweaty underground basements as to expansive festival sound systems.

“I’ve always loved tracks that feel alive,” Migrant continues. “On ‘Suppressed’, I wanted the drums to breathe, to stumble, to hit off-beat — to feel human. It’s rough around the edges in all the right ways.”

The single marks a significant evolution for Migrant, an artist known for his ability to blur the lines between the organic and the electronic. While his earlier work transported listeners to dreamlike, meditative spaces, “Suppressed” pulls them firmly back to the dancefloor: a place of chaos, catharsis, and connection.

From his beginnings as a globe-trotting hotelier who discovered music as a form of escape, to becoming one of India’s most compelling new producers, Migrant continues to redefine his sound with each release. “Suppressed” captures that restlessness and drive; a reflection of an artist in constant motion, unafraid to take risks or confront his own evolution head-on.

Migrant “Suppressed” is available now on all major streaming platforms.

With an impressive discography that spans some of the planet’s most in-demand imprints, including This Never Happened, Einmusika and ZeroThree, Dutch producer Huminal debuts on Purified Records with his most requested body of work to-date, his two-track Lucid EP.

Crafting a majestic soundscape, the title track blends melodic, soaring synths with elements of trance and deep house to achieve a radiant, hybrid composition. In Flow, Huminal devises a dreamy arrangement, weaving undulating synth patterns, rhythmic percussion, and delicate keys. Exploring two powerful states of mind: Lucid embodies the sensation of sudden clarity—the moment when everything snaps into focus, and you see the world with sharpness and purpose. Flow is a tribute to life’s natural rhythms, capturing the feeling of being in perfect sync. It’s a soundtrack for those moments when you’re fully immersed in the present, moving with confidence and joy.

Speaking about the release, Huminal mentioned:

“Excited to release the Lucid EP with Purified! Both tracks, Lucid and Flow, have been well received during my festival sets and when Nora En Pure supported them. I’ve never had so many ID requests leading up to a release, and I couldn’t be happier to release these on Purified.” — Huminal

The Lucid EP artwork hosts a photograph of corals, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Corals are essential marine invertebrates that form the backbone of coral reefs, supporting biodiversity by offering habitat and protection to marine species. They rely on a symbiotic relationship with photosynthetic algae called zooxanthellae, which provide the energy necessary for coral growth and calcification. However, in Australia, the Crown of Thorns Starfish (Acanthaster planci) is causing severe damage to coral reefs by preying on the coral polyps, leading to widespread coral decline. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (@gbrmarinepark) is actively addressing this threat through science-based strategies, such as targeted starfish culling and coral restoration initiatives, to preserve reef health and resilience. Located on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, Daniel Nicholson is one of the globe’s most prominent professional underwater photographers. He seeks to share the beauty and magic of the underwater world to inspire conservation and change.
