Hot on the rise and gaining support from the likes of Laurent Garnier and Carl Cox, London based Hilit Kolet is turning heads across the scene. With a packed calendar including gigs at UK’s The Warehouse Project and more, we felt it a perfect time to invite Hilit to pick out 10 tracks that she’s been feeling recently. Listen and enjoy and be sure to keep up to date with her over on Instagram and SoundCloud.

1. Honey Dijon feat. LATASHÁ – Don’t Be Afraid

My favourite track at the moment, new from HRH Dijon. Raw and sexy and charged and explosive, love the pulsating bass, love the fierce vocals (as well as the vocal processing), damn this is good.

2. Sally C – The Way To Do It

Sally C brought hip house back into our lives and it feels so fresh and soooo good. This is a proper lil heater; I opened my Elrow set at Printworks with it a couple of weeks ago – the dramatic intro got so many screams, winner.

3. Terry Farley & Wade Teo feat. Kameelah Waheed – Why We Dance

Absolute house anthem. This record from *put your hands up* legend Farley and rising London talent Wade Teo has it all – hypnotic low end, teasy piano, on-point lyrics and a fierce vocal performance from Kaneelah. Oh, and I was just asked to remix it! Keep an eye out.

4. Lyric – Let Me Tell U

I had the honour of closing Koko in London after Lyric and her dad Robert – or Floorplan, as they’re better known – and it’s only made me a bigger fan of their funk-fuelled techno. This is a Lyric’s own cut, and it’s taking Lolleta’s famed vocals for a walk in a pretty dimmed alley. Powerful stuff.

5. STOUT – Energy (Demuir’s Playboi Edit)

Jackin, raunchy, slapping proper, I’m here for this and for pretty much anything else that Demuir has been magicking out. One of my favourite producers at the moment.

6. Chloé Robinson + DJ ADHD – Pax

I’m really sorry to keep it simple and scream ‘this is a banger’ but… this is a Banger with capital B! Solid 909 workout that sounds huge in the club. Weapon.

7. Avision feat. Strafe – Party Started (Set It Off)

Killer, one of my faves to play out this year. Punchy, striking, bold. Been loving Avision, he’s got the groove.

8. Green Velvet – Thoughts (Rebūke Remix)

This Rebuke remix for the Green King was released earlier in the year but I’m still on it. Tight as F, I like the drum programming and the FM synthesis lead on this.

9. Denney – Repeat To Specify

New heat from the groove machine that is Denney, who just launched his label ‘Totemic’ with his own double A-Side. Rolling with addictive congas, a touch of acid and twisted vox on top, drop this at 4am and stand right back.

10. J.O.S.H.U.A – DEM JUST

I love how cheeky the reggaton vocal is compared to the har- slapping beat, it creates such a good contrast. Proper madness this, you can just imagine it ruining a dancefloor. Defo dropping this at the Warehouse Project later this month.

Fresh from his recent debut on Hot Creations alongside Andruss, we invited Umberto Pagliaroli to pick out ten tracks for us to mark the release of ‘Mueve’. Read on and enjoy the genre spanning selection from the Italian artist!

1. Andruss & Umberto Pagliaroli Ft. El Apache Ness – Mueve [Hot Creations]

Our new track is inspired by the whole world, dry tech sounds, percussion, rhythm, warmth, Latin caliente vocal, feel it all, any dancefloor should feel the feeling of ‘Mueve’.

2. Les Indiscretes – Without you [Armada Music]

This is a piece of electronic music that uses digital instruments and is circuit-based. It has a distinct melancholy and somber 90’s tone.

3. Chelonis R. Jones I Dont Know [Get Physical Music]

This song is a classic deep vocal about love and sensuality, and the artist is unsure about his love affair. The electric bass solo complements love and brings about elements of dance-like rhythms; this song fits perfectly with its beat.

4. Majestic & Jungle 70 – Creeping In The Dark [Capitol]

The recognizable, free-flowing delivery of Jungle 70 helps to create a fusion of bass and garage with a bouncing bass line that marches and barges its way along like Hench bouncers in a jam-packed nightclub. With percussion slaps, alien-sounding effects, and my personal favorite, a Velcro-tear sample, it’s a contemporary, well-rehearsed ensemble. the rapped vocal keeps the song on the wave to ride.

5. Aqeel 72 – Up In The Sky [Sindicato]

This is electronic music with new age influences, indiepop electropop; the track begins with high note drums synchronized and harmonized with a lighthearted mood. The song combines the four-to-the-floor rhythms common in house music with harmonically rich analog bass lines, harsh and high- pitched leads, and the occasional piano.

6. Barnt – Geffen [Comeme]

This song has a peppery fusion of different sound types and pop melodies; an instrumental track characterized by very present claps, which guarantee the movement together with the straight bass and the abstract combination and variations of the drums.

7. Double-99 – ‘RIP Groove’ Original Mix [Skint Records]

This is music with high beats and uses the slow motion tactic to make it dark but mesmerizing and engaging, very tight.

8. Wildchild – Renegade Master (Original mix) [Hi Life Recordings]

The song is electronic music under the big beat and acid house genre. It uses heavy breakbeats and synthesizer-generated loops and patterns. Vocal that binds everything and makes it a famous and historic track.

9. Armand Van Helden – I want your soul [Southern Fried Records]

The song has a big bass drum and a buzzing bassline. Its genre is 80s electro-pop/tech house, and the song has melodic elements which contain heavy bass. Another unforgettable hit that lasts from day one, perfect for any kind of situation, it steals your soul!

10. Tim Deluxe – Transformation (Get Human)

This is reminiscent of an old school house music. The song has an omnipresent four on the floor programmed beat with the sound of electronic squelch with a mixture of simple bass. The ride and driving groove from start to end.

This December, Hot Creations welcomes a collaboration from Andre Salmon and Teddy Wong, who together deliver the dancefloor-ready Pegao EP. With the exciting collaboration approaching, we invited Teddy Wong to pick out ten tracks he’s been feeling recently. Hailing from Mexico, Teddy Wong heads up the label Barrio Chinesca Music Club, supporting sonic material by artists based in Baja, California and Mexico. Brobot Records, We Jack., Sagmen, Name Dropper, and many more imprints have platformed his house-led sounds. Enjoy his selection!

1. Climbers – Equal Responsibility (Original Mix)

This is an anthem by Kiko Deal (RIP) and Jay Blakk, I just love how everything in this song comes together in perfect harmony; the bass, pads, vocals and drums work together to take you in a beautiful sonic journey.

2. Demuir – To be a Star (feat. Phil Weeks) (Original Mix)

Loving the groove and vibes on this track. Funky drums, evolving synths and Phil’s vocals make this track a killer on the dance floor.

3. Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Hot Natured – Forward Motion feat, Ali Love (Original Mix)

If I remember correctly the first time I heard this track was at la Mezcalera in Tijuana around 2010-2011, me and my friends when to see Lee Foss and he dropped this masterpiece, one of my favorite songs of all time.

4. Mr. Diamond – Tambo (Original Mix)

The bass in this track is hypnotic, I love the percussion work along the track and the vocal glues everything together for a perfect weapon in any set.

5. Teddy Wong – You Make Me Love Ya (Original Mix)

My latest release on Junior Sanchez’s label Brobot Records is a straight dance floor track, with uptempo disco vibes and catchy vocals, this track will bring the house down every time.

6. Human By Nature – Electronic Rhythm (Original Mix)

Love the old school vibe on this track, the conversation between all the different elements is really smooth, vocals, drums pianos come together to bring the perfect energy for a great night.

7. BadWolf, Soff- Dame Mas (Original Mix)

Everything in this track sounds big and with a lot of presence, the vocals in Spanish add that extra flavor to the already massive track. This one works in every environment big festivals, small clubs, underground spots, you name it.

8. Andre Salmon & Teddy Wong – Nacion del House (Original Mix)

This one is special as this is our first collaboration, the track is on the harder side of the spectrum. It’s our interpretation of and old school tool track.

9. No-e – Sunshine (Extended Mix)

House vibes all the way, decently a track not only for the club, but also for a road trip or day at the beach, the vocal work on this tracks keeps the energy up and the good vibes rolling.

10. KC Wray – This Feeling (Original Mix)

Smooth disco-house track; the percussion and the bass set the perfect mood for the dance floor, with filter vocals and strings that continue to add to the development of the track, perfect for every occasion.

Up-and-coming tech house talent Andruss collaborates with Umberto Pagliaroli and El Apache Ness on Mueve. On the flip, Andruss joins forces with Fatboi, celebrating their South-American roots on Jamie Jones’ long-running and internationally renowned label. Huge drums and fresh percussive sounds dominate the release.

Andruss explains the root of the EP. “‘Mueve’ was born from the great support we have received from our latest tracks. It is something that we have not or have never dared to do. The fusion of Latin vocals of the singer El Apache Ness fits perfectly with the idea I had with Umberto Pagliaroli. Both the voices and the classic percussive finishes of salsa music give a twist to this new production that we have great faith in reaching the top stores.” The title track kicks off with chunky drums and organic textures, with El Apache Ness’s vocals upping the energy—an instant club classic. On Agáchalo, Andruss teams up with rapper and singer Fatboi. Andruss explains the process in his own words. “This track is very special for Fatboi and me since we created it in less than 24 hours. I sent Fatboi a quick message, and he didn’t hesitate to record an improvisation of the track for me since we didn’t have much time to deliver it.” The result is a muscular tech house tune with tribal drums in perfect harmony with Fatboi’s husky vocals. A poignant moment for Andruss, who sums up the track and the whole EP itself: “From the feeling of releasing something in Spanish on a top British label, it makes us feel very proud of our roots.”

Born in Mérida, Mexico, Andruss is a rising star on the international house and tech house circuits. He’s released on La Pera Records, Bunny Tiger, South Of Saturn and many more celebrated labels, building a legion of fans worldwide. As a DJ, he’s shared the bill with Alok, Vintage Culture, Bekermat, Duke Dumont and several other established names. Italian-born producer and DJ Umberto Pagliaroli has produced club-cut tech house on labels like Riviera Underground Music, RIM, Toolroom and more, sharing his dynamic and upbeat sound with the masses. Born in Quilmes, Argentina, El Apache Ness is a well-known vocalist, celebrated for his songs Joda En Mendoza and Somos Asi. His collaboration with Andruss and Umberto Pagliaroli on Hot Creations marks a first for the artist.

“Have you ever had this endless feeling of unconditional love for someone or music, between virtuality and reality, which seems to be eternal for your own heart… ” — Nicolas Masseyeff

French DJ and producer Nicolas Masseyeff shares his first album in almost a decade on Marc Romboy’s label Systematic. The release brims with lush tones, electronica-flecked rhythms and rich soundscapes, suitable for a club-based audience and home listening. Celebrated visual artist Yann Masseyeff—Nicolas’s brother—is responsible for the artwork of the release.

Nicolas explains the theme of the album. “‘Endless’ represents a melting pot of my influences. Eleven years after my first album, I wanted to fix the time again, about all the feelings I had in my heart when I was producing in my studio these past months. For me, the greatest value of a track is to stay nontemporal and go through the years…and it’s the magic of music…we all have some love for some old tracks…the power of love…this endless feeling…something truly personal that you can share with the people.” Opening tune Present features a collaboration with fellow French artist Kittin, who shapes the track with her sultry vocals and seductive lyrics. Paired with Nicolas’ low-slung basslines and ascending keys, it’s a blissful introduction to a long-awaited album.

Naga unfolds with cinematic chords and lazy drums before a twinkling melody slips into the soundscape, creating a sun-kissed vibe apt for beachside listening or a walk at dusk. Ametiste whips up the pace with snappy drums and warbling pads, serving a dose of club-driven energy. The Balearic vibes are real.

Following the club-cut tip, Double Visage bristles with chunky kickdrums and fizzing high-hats, but a constellation of chords give an angelic feel. It’s a delicate balance between melodic and tech house. Handa comes next, offering a more minimal mood before a distorted melody snakes through the atmosphere, conveying a menacing air.

The title track is a beautiful, peak-time groover. Dominated by an enchanting synthline and opera-like vocals, it instantly lifts the spirits and draws the listener in until the last beat. At just over two minutes, Norakog begins in a hazy manner with a muffled bassline before crystal-clear keys swoop into the atmosphere, forming a magical interlude on the album.

With its wonky synthline and staccato piano notes, Ice Raven stands as the oddball track of the release, building tension and restrained energy with powerful drums and bleepy FX.

Simmering with shakers and a smack of rim shots, Tierra dips into a progressive-tinged soundscape with a driving synthline and glowing chords, developing into a straight-up heart-throbber

Orphan ebbs and flows between a spell-binding melody and an understated bassline, rippling into a natural groove. It’s a finale-feel track to a marathon DJ set.

Penultimate track Yoki rumbles through with elastic kickdrums and bouncy rhythm, penning a buoyant mood and evoking hands-in-the-air action.

Final tune Quantic Sonar is a seven-minute treat, delving into Nicolas’ multi-textured sound palette. Elegant chords coalesce with thick drums before developing into an acid-drenched lead, affirming the artist’s ability to tell stories through sound—a magnificent end to a mesmerising album.

Raised on the French Riviera, Nicolas Masseyeff started out as a local record dealer before purchasing his own shop, Limelight, establishing it as the most respected vinyl haunt in the South of France. Pursuing music production full-time since the late noughties allowed Nicolas to follow his true path, shaping him into the multi-genre artist he is today. Having released on Herzblut Recordings, Systematic, KD Music, Mobilee and several other esteemed imprints, Nicolas has worked relentlessly to craft a sound that transcends house, electronica, downtempo and afro house. Collaborations with Kittin, Oxia and Parallelle wind throughout his back catalogue, as well as remixes for Frankyeffe, Pig&Dan, Nikola Gala, Hot Since 82 and many more besides.

Endless offers an insight into Nicolas’ spiralling world, detailing the artist’s lithe production skills and consideration when collaborating with other talents, like the interdisciplinary singer Kittin. The collection sums up where Nicolas is at now in his career—a storied producer who continues to evolve, sharing an aesthetic rich in melody while retaining a dance-driven flavour. It’s the kind of sound that comes with years of practice, patience and perseverance.

Nicolas Masseyeff ‘Endless’ LP is out Friday 25th November on Systematic Recordings

Electronic group Pale Blue returns to Damian Lazarus’ label Crosstown Rebels. Dive stems from the pair’s upcoming album on the imprint, which will drop next year. Remixes from Fort Romeau and Rebolledo feature on the EP, adding another layer to the shoegaze-tinged tune.

Mike Simonetti talks about the theme of the track. “‘Dive’ is a breakup song. It’s about when the person you are living with becomes a stranger,” he says. “Musically, ‘Dive’ is an experiment in polyrhythms and textures; the music has a lot of movement, yet Elizabeth’s vocals are stoic throughout. The music represents the chaos of the relationship, and her voice is the calm realization of self.” The title track opens with Elizabeth’s soft vocals and a dreamy synthline, evoking a hazy but potent soundscape. On Fort Romeau’s remix, the Oxfordshire native offers a Tranceadelic Mix of the track, combining tribal-flecked percussion with an understated bassline, allowing Elizabeth’s lyrics to dominate the atmosphere. Rebolledo pens an acid melody and transposes Elizabeth’s vocals to an alien-like pitch—perfect for a tripped-out listen.

Jersey-born Mike Simonetti is one half of the musical group Pale Blue and the founder of labels Troubleman, Italians Do It Better and 2MR. With over two decades of experience working as a producer and DJ, Mike has released disparate sounds on Crosstown Rebels, Correspondent and several more, building the reputation of a versatile artist who avoids the limelight and instead focuses on making dance music with depth. In 2020, Pale Blue’s track I Walk Alone With Acid landed in Pitchfork’s The 30 Best Electronic Music Releases of 2020 and The 100 Best Songs of 2020. US-born Elizabeth Wight is a vocalist and the other half of Pale Blue. No matter the project she’s working on, her vocals add different layers to electronic music, creating a signature mood that only she knows how. I Walk Alone With Acid remains one of the most striking records in her evolving discography. UK-born Fort Romeau merges the tones of house, kraut, ambient, disco, and techno across his work, releasing on Permanent Vacation, Mesh and more. His album Beings of Light dropped on Ghostly International earlier this year, affirming his status as an innovative artist. Mexican DJ and producer Rebolledo is one-half of the electronic duo Pachanga Boys, but as a solo artist, his sound bounces between sun-kissed house and strutting disco. Tracks on Correspondent and Hippie Dance highlight his boundless approach as a producer.

Today we invite Mancunian DJ and producer Black Hawks of Panama to pick out ten tracks that are special to him. Earlier this month, the storied artist made his debut on Hot Creations, delivering the 200th release on the label in the form of Nobody Buy You featuring Bisi. The club-ready scorcher also includes a remix from long-running affiliate of the Hot Creations crew, Sidney Charles. Listen and enjoy his decade-spanning selection below!

1. Don Carlos (Alone Paradise) [Irma]

A legendary track from a special moment in time. We used to rinse this track at Cafe Mambo in the 90s and luckily got to play with Carlos as he is known, who is now a friend.

2. Chapsy “City of Erotics” [Foot And Mouth]

A cheeky update of one of my Prince faves ;))

3. Barbara Tucker – I Get Lifted (The Bar Dub) [Strictly Rhythm]

Stone cold classic since it’s release in 1994. Never left my box due to its moody, soulful grooves! Boyd Jarvis, Kenny Dope and Barbara on perfect form.

4. Marc Houle – Bay Of Figs [Minus]

I remember being at a daytime club in Ibiza and hearing this blew our heads off and lifted the roof at the same time. Props to Mark Houle, one of the original European techno crew.

5. Voices – Voices in My Mind (Cosmack Master Mix) [Ministry]

Masters at Work again killing with house vibes and London’s own CJ Macintosh on the mix. I heard this for the first time at Back to Basics in Leeds, early hours mayhem.

6. Robert Owens vs. Danny Tenaglia ‎– I’ll Be Your Elements [White]

This naughty edit takes one of my favourite tracks by Danny Tenaglia with the Robert Owens acappella of I’ll Be Your Friend, enough said!

7. Arnold Jarvis ‘Take Some Time Out’ (Ilija Rudman Reconstruction Mix) [Fourth Floor]

A really tasteful rework of this legendary house track. Early hours vibes!

8. Meli’sa Morgan – Still In Love With You (Hard Love Dub) [Pendulum Records]

Gritty house beats with Melisa’s heavenly vocals, the A side is a killer too. I like to mix old US and new school in my sets, this is a good example.

9. Basic Channel – Phylyps Trak II/II [Basic Channel]

Another gritty dj tool for segwaying between tracks that never left my box from when I played with Frankie Knuckles in the 90s, after looking over the decks he then kindly let me see the name of this beaut.

10. Steve Poindexter – Work That Motha Fucker [Muzique Records]

Does what it says on the tin.

Today we are pleased to welcome Antwerp-based Capoon. Drawing inspiration from emotion rather than function, the rising artist makes music with a palpable mood and story-telling aesthetic. Releases on Human By Default, MoBlack Records and more display his thoughtful approach. Earlier this month, Capoon made his debut on Damian Lazarus’ Rebellion imprint, delivering the deep and enchanting track ‘Emma’ on Rebellion presents SOULS Vol.3, the third instalment in the label’s burgeoning VA series. To mark the release, we invited Capoon to pick out ten tracks that are special to him, enjoy!

1. Capoon – Emma [Rebellion]

“Recently I checked my studio backups running through my server and found some old content I recorded in high school. It was one of the beautiful songs of Emma’s graduation project I worked for as a student audio engineer. I contacted her and asked permission to do something with it. Besides the fact she’s one of the warmest persons I know, she’s an awesome musician too. Thanks for this opportunity, Emma.”

2. Sophie Hunger – There Is Still Pain Left (Laolu Remix) [Supermoon]

“Every time I go to a Damian Lazarus gig he drops this one. What’s the chance? Lovely vocal, lovely vibe, lovely remix. Can’t say anything else.”

3. Leon Vynehall – It’s Just (House of Depree) [Cocoon]

“You can hear a lot of samples hitting in this track. Beautifully collected and used with love for hiss and old school crackling. Isley Brothers’ ‘Don’t Say Goodbye’ pling plang plongs awesomely used as synth samples. Seems like the lyrics are saying ‘dees is goe’ which means ‘this is good’ in our Flemish (Belgian) Dialect. Never disappoints.”

4. Fat Freddy’s Drop – Dig Deep [The Drop]

“One of my favorite live acts bringing live heat. Can’t resist putting it in my sets. 10:30 crazy minutes.”

5. Simian Mobile Disco, Deep Throat Choir – Caught In a Wave [Wichita]

“Don’t fast forward. Play, enjoy the ride.”

6. D’Angelo – Untitled (How Does It Feel) [Virgin]

“Not prince but d’Angelo. Can play this in a loop. All day.”

7. St Germain – Pont Des Arts [Parlophone]

“One of the reasons why I make music. Pure craftsmanship. One of my all time favs. My dad introduced me to Ludovic’s CD’s while driving through France on holidays.”

8. Howling – Phases (Toto Chiavetta Colour Two) [Innervisions]

“Capoon started as a 2 person project. Stijn (ex Capoon) introduced me to this track. Forever grateful and reminds me of the good times we spent together.”

9. Rosalia – Que No Salga La Luna (Cap.2) [Columbia]

“Imagine yourself in a big theatre. 1 static Follow spot on Rosalia. Goosebumps.”

10. Radiohead – Present Tense [XL]

“Bob Ludwig + Nigel Godrich meets Thom Yorke and his band. Highest emotion in music and my all time favorite musician alive.”

Damian Lazarus curates the third SOULS compilation on Crosstown Rebels’ sibling label Rebellion. Comprised of four tracks, transcending electronica, tech house and progressive house, Rebellion presents SOULS Vol.3 features the production talents of Airrica, Lorenzo De Blanck, Capoon and Bartolomeo.

Rising star Airrica opens the V/A with the playful Defect. Blending bleeps and rapid-fire claps with a warbling synthline and alien-like vocals, it’s a bouncy number that’s perfect for a peak-time dancefloor. Italian DJ and producer Lorenzo De Blanck whips up the pace with Addiction. Tight kickdrums and a trumpet-led melody wind through the track, building an instant mood-lifter. On Emma, Belgian talent Capoon offers a slow-buring, more ambient piece. Ethereal vocals glide through the soundscape before a huge synthline swoops in and switches up the vibe. Bartolomeo completes the V/A with Isla Del Rosario, a funky track brimming with organic percussion and complimented by a Spanish vocal that dominates the track. Cinematic chords add a hypnotic feel, evolving into a cosmic, club-driven cut.

US-born Airrica cut her teeth into DJing in Tulum, finessing her skills as a selector and crafting a sound of her own from the booth. From Mexico to The White Isle, she has gone on to support Artbat, Damian Lazurus, me and many more. In the studio, she produces lush and loud house music, stitching rumbling basslines between hypnotic grooves. Italian DJ, producer and vinyl head Lorenzo De Blanck has made his mark on the global electronic scene with several releases on Moon Harbour, Hottrax and Saved Records, among others. Remixes for Virginia Lazzarini, Detlef and Ohm Guru feature in his back catalogue. Antwerp-based Capoon draws inspiration from emotion rather than function, making music with a palpable mood and story-telling aesthetic. Releases on Human By Default, MoBlack Records and more display his thoughtful approach. Engineer and tour manager for label-head Damian Lazarus, Italian artist Bartolomeo is a classically trained musician with a meticulous attention to detail that is evident across his electronic material. Minimal and deep house tracks feature in his discography, with appearances across Hot Creations’ Hot Waves, Crosstown Rebels, Claque Musique and more, as well as via his own imprint BAR Musica.

Darksidevinyl debuts on Yoshitoshi with ‘Red Face / Black Shine’ https://www.musicis4lovers.com/darksidevinyl-debuts-on-yoshitoshi-with-red-face-black-shine/ Fri, 18 Nov 2022 10:42:41 +0000 https://www.musicis4lovers.com/?p=103940

Yoshitoshi welcomes Darksidevinyl to the roster with two killer cuts…

Although he’s been producing for over 20 years, Darksidevinyl is a man who has really come into his own in 2022. Recent releases have seen him touch down at Wired, Connected, MoBlack, Nitegrooves and Selador; the latter release, ‘Plastic Dream’, picking-up the ‘cover’ on Spotify’s coveted Electronic Rising playlist.

His style is unique, fusing Afro-influences with house, all wrapped in a blanket of deep warmth, as Red Face, the lead on this AA side, demonstrates. But the track doesn’t stop there in its multi-cultural influences as it also infuses a sultry vox and Latin rhythms. “The idea came to me in a cafe,” explains DSV, “I was sat having a coffee when this track came on in the background and the idea flowed from there. It’s funny how inspiration can strike at any given place or moment!”

Meanwhile, Black Shine takes an instrumental path, and looks to a soaring string arrangement, which is almost Bond-esque in style and feel. If ever a dance track deserved a Maurice Binder / 007 credit sequence, this is it! The emotive, soundtrack feel was entirely deliberate though, as DSV continues to explain, “It really was written and produced for people who love that feeling of pure emotion on the dancefloor; the essence of that moment when the hairs stand-up on your arms, neck or both!”
