Montreal-based DJ and producer Sinca unveils her latest sonic adventure – a vibrant bootleg of the 2014 chart-topping hit, ‘Hideaway’. This fresh rework is available now as a free download exclusively on Sinca’s SoundCloud channel.

In her signature style, Sinca breathes new life into the modern classic, weaving her deep, groovy touch with the iconic vocals that creates an essence of nostalgia. The edit masterfully blends pulsing basslines, hypnotic percussion, and melodic layers, resulting in a dancefloor-ready reimagining that honours the original’s spirit while adding an unequivocally cool edge. Already a staple in her recent sets, this rework has captivated audiences worldwide and is poised to become a standout favourite for fans and DJs alike.

Known for her ability to fuse deep, progressive house with eclectic influences, Sinca’s journey is shaped by her multicultural background and rich artistic history. Growing up in a French-Canadian and Peruvian household, she found early inspiration in her diverse roots, which continues to inform her dynamic sound.

The end of 2024 saw Sinca reach new creative heights, beginning with her debut on Bedrock Records via a remix of John Digweed and Nick Muir’s iconic ‘Santiago’. Her year was a whirlwind of unforgettable performances at renowned All Day I Dream showcases in New York and Ibiza, as well as gigs in Miami, Toronto, Berlin, Paris, and San Diego. Sinca’s festival appearances included Coachella on the DoLab Stage, Anjunadeep Explorations in Albania, Osheaga Festival in Montreal, Sziget Festival in Hungary, Beyond The Pines Festival in Minnesota, M DGTL in Quebec, and a memorable set at Burning Man.

Capping off a stellar year, Sinca was recognized in 1001 Tracklists’ The Future of Dance 2024 feature and played alongside legends Guy J and Henry Saiz during Bedrock’s ADE showcase. She also served as a judge at the Demolition XXVII panel, showcasing her expertise and dedication to the craft.

As 2025 unfolds, Sinca is set to make waves with a packed schedule of performances and new music releases. With her ‘Hideaway’ bootleg setting the tone for the year, fans can expect even more captivating projects from one of electronic music’s most promising rising stars.

The anointed prince of indie-disco-pop, Ziyad Al-Samman returns with a brand new, wonderfully surreal single in the form of “Bang”. It’s another galvanizing disco-pop anthem from the half-Syrian, half-British artist, and is the first sample of his esoteric new EP “Pleasure Complex” (Nov 2024). The upcoming 5-track EP showcases Ziyad’s boundless creativity, which extends to his unique visuals and outstanding live performances. 

Newly signed to Yotanka Records in France, “Bang” is Ziyad’s uncompromising message on unique creativity, arriving with a sudden rush of swirling, staccato noise, the track quickly morphs into an indie synth-driven journey, underpinned by upbeat rhythms and crooning vocals. Frequent sprinkles of jittery, heavily- filtered vocals further embellish the release. 

Speaking on the new single “Bang” – Ziyad explains: “The song is about being driven by love and madness. The chase and excitement of a new relationship. I remember trying to channel some David Bowie energy when I first wrote this and I love how direct this song is, it carries a great swag and attitude.”

“When Ziyad came to me with the prospect to roll on some 16mm, I was instantly sold. Shooting on film brings an unspoken magic to the way in which the film is captured and the end result. It creates limitations (we could only roll on 10 minutes total) which spurs creativity and encourages you to adapt in the moment. We wanted to go down an industrial post punk route for ‘Bang’, with a journey of running through the streets at night. We had six hours to shoot everything, we’re all ecstatic with how it turned out.”  – Katya Ganfeld, video director

Born in England, with Syrian & Jordanian heritage – Ziyad’s music blends his diverse cultural background, drawing from influences like Talking Heads, Depeche Mode, and a memorable childhood experience of singing along to Amr Diab’s “Habibi Ya Nour El Ain.” This song’s title, “Habibi,” meaning “my love,” became the theme for his standout single “Ya Habibi” on his eagerly anticipated debut EP. His music spans a range of styles, from disco-pop in “Bang” to the indie vibes of “My Sweet”, all infused with his love of dance and emotion.

Previous releases from Ziyad have led to acclaim from the likes of DIY, The Times and So Young Magazine. And achieved radio play on 6Music and Amazing Radio. His exuberant live performances have led to support slots with Hinds,  Findlay, TTRRUUCCES, Yumi & The Weather and Noon Garden, and he’s performed at festivals including Green Man Festival, Live At Leeds, Deershed and Left of the Dial.

Pioneering house music DJ, producer and label boss Jamie Jones is back with his feelgood new single ‘We Groovin’ with Jazzy, out March 1st on Helix Records. 

‘We Groovin’ is a bouncing house tune, bringing the party in a way only Jamie Jones can. Building around Jazzy’s vibrant vocal melodies, Jones skillfully blends intricate textures and vibrant rhythms, resulting in a track that exudes both timelessness and innovation.

“I have so much love for this tune. When Jamie sent me the demo and said he was looking for someone to jump on, it was such a surprise to me”, says Jazzy. “As someone who has been a fan of his for a long time I jumped at the opportunity!”

The track follows the disco-soaked bliss of his previous singles ‘Fine Fine Baby’ ft Nigerian dance artist Kah-Lo, ‘Lose My Mind’ and ‘Got Time For Me’ with Channel Tres which the duo performed exclusively at last year’s Coachella. 

Just revealed, Jamie welcomes a slew of talent to Factory Town, Miami on March 22nd for his Paradise party including AMÉMÉ, Astra Club (Carlita +DJ Tennis), Chris Stussy, East End Dubs, Fleur Shore, Lauren Lane, Loco Dice, Luuk van Dijk, Mason Collective, Max Dean, Miluhska, Serge Devant, and wAFF. After a massive 16-week run at the beloved Amnesia Ibiza with his famed Paradise residency, Jamie returned to North America last year and played a string of festivals including III Points Miami, and The Escape Festival in December, as well as a special Paradise edition to the iconic Club Space Miami during Art Basel and played brand new event series Forever Midnight hopping from LA to Vegas to rein in the new year. Coming up, Jamie brings his famed Paradise series to Miami on March 22nd and then heads to NYC on May 4th for a 4-hour set at Teksupport, followed by a European run of festivals including Timewarp, Music on Festival, Forbidden Forest, The Beach Festival, and Kappa FuturFestival. 

Brit-nominated Irish dance vocalist & DJ Jazzy is coming off the back of a big year, with her Irish #1 single ‘Giving Me’, which was a UK Top 3 hit and the biggest new debut single of 2023. She also had a Top 5 UK single with dance duo Belters Only with ‘Make Me Feel Good’. Though she’s still in the infancy of her career, her unique combination of classical training and a love for club music and hip-hop has given her a dexterous approach to songwriting. Following the remarkable international success of Elif’s emphatic Medusa EP back in September, recently-formed Barcelona-based imprint Marginalia now looks to double its burgeoning release tally with the announcement of the label’s eagerly anticipated sophomore offering, Call Out EP.

Another exquisite three-part package bearing all the hallmarks of the label’s flourishing sound palate – and with early support from industry heavyweights Oostil and Mira amongst others – Marginalia’s second release sees label boss Elif invite hotly-tipped LA-based, Iranian producer MANTi to the imprint for her eagerly-anticipated label debut.

Making her intentions known from the off, MANTi kick-starts the EP with the dynamic title track Call Out, a deeply meditative cut that harnesses driving techno kicks and an intoxicating web of trippy synth intricacies. Darting between organic timbres and cosmic tones, MANTi’’s euphoric mosaic of juxtaposed sound design elements makes this one of the most unique tracks on the label to date.

The EP’s second offering Renegade takes a stylistic turn from its predecessor, boasting a tribal rhythm that’s both rich and atmospheric in its effect. As a thank you Nik took the mesmerizing vocals of the viral hit “Jericho” by “Iniko” and reworked them into a Liquid Drum & Bass masterpiece to share with everyone for free! DIMMISH dropped a free tune at the end of last year that is well worth your attention.

LoveCrime is a super classy but feel good tune packed with warmth, gooey chords and dynamic house drums from the MidWest of the US. The vocals are a Sade sample that sound as silky as ever and a classic spoken word monologue that gets you going. Pair that with the rubbery, punchy bass and you have a simple but effective and soulful gem.

This one is a must have for serious house heads.
